What affects the price?
Doc2Lang estimates the work after reading your file. These are the three main processing paths.
Documents and subtitles
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, CSV, EPUB and subtitle files are priced mainly from the amount of translatable text.
Audio, video and scanned PDFs
Speech recognition or OCR adds processing work, so Lite savings can differ from text-only files.
Translated images
Image translation includes text detection, translation and rebuilding the translated image. The exact quote reflects the full workflow.
How billing tokens and credits work
Billing tokens measure the translatable content extracted from your file. Credits are prepaid account balance, not a subscription. When you buy a full translation, the quoted credits are deducted from your balance.

File size in MB is not a reliable guide. Non-English text often uses more billing tokens per character.
